he one-off joining fee is currently $2,000 + GST. You pay this only once, when you join the group. There is an annual contribution of $300 which covers fixed costs such as hangarage and insurance. Then, you fly the aircraft for $135 per hour (inc gst) which covers direct operating costs such as fuel, oil and maintenance. Only actual flight time is charged thanks to an airspeed activated hour meter, so there's no charge for ground time. If you decide to leave the group, your joining fee will be refunded as soon as a new member can be found to replace you.
